Sumter County Library's 2025 Summer Reading Program!

June 9th - July 25th
To participate, register for one of our three summer reading challenges by visiting any of our library locations or online at sumtercountylibrary.beanstack.org after May 20th.
Early Reader Challenge ages 0 - 4
Children's Reading Challenge ages 5 - 12
Teen Reading Challenge ages 13 -17
After you register, pick up your tote bags, reading logs, and bookmarks at any location.
Set a goal to read 20 minutes a day for 30 days.
Record the time you or your child reads online at sumtercountylibrary.beanstack.org or the provided reading logs.
Visit any Sumter County Library location before July 24th @ 6:00 PM and let us know you have completed your challenge to claim your prize and be entered for a chance to win a grand prize.
General prizes are available until August 7th.

Summer Reading Program Activities
Between June 9th and July 25th, all locations will have various activities.

Some activities require registration
Call or visit the library branch holding the activity to register before the day of the activity.
Waiting lists will be created if slots are full
Please let us know if you can't make it to a program you registered for.
