Library eCards
The Library eCard is a virtual library card that is available to all Sumter County (South Carolina) residents who do not currently have a library card available to them. An eCard provides you with ready access to our online digital collection of e-books, e-magazines, audiobooks, educational material and virtual resources which can be accessed from your computer, smartphone and tablet.
By completing the application below, you can acquire an eCard from us that can be used immediately once processed. All eCard requests are usually processed within a 48 hour time frame once submitted during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 10 am - 6:00 pm). Once processed, you will receive your eCard and pin number by email, so be sure to type in the correct email address when filling out the application.
eCard users can fully validate their library account and receive a physical card by visiting the Main Library and showing a photo ID along with proof of residency. With a physical library card, you will have full access to all of the benefits the library has to offer, including physical materials and additional programs and services.
